October Pictures

I think everyone's favorite part of storytime is "shaking their sillies out"
(North Logan Library)

Playing at the playground before dropping off/picking up the kindergartners!

These two are such pals...she loves Evan! :)

Dramatic playtime...playing with the kitchen set. He had the idea to get the hot pad on his hand all by himself before handling the "hot" pans!

Playing with my "Jack O Lantern" magnetic storytime pieces -- she especially enjoys the pumpkin stories!

Even little girls have fun with light sabers! Watch out bad guys!

Having too much fun to hold still for a picture!

Busy day, fell asleep during lunch!

She got picked to help in storytime (North Logan Library)

Early morning baking buddy!

Handprint spiders - they looked especially cute once their wiggly eyes were added! I wish I'd gotten pictures of their ghost hands as well - very cute!

So many awesome helpers to put up our Halloween window clings!

Doing the different faces for the "Jack O Lantern" story...

Chalk pictures of themselves

Maybe I should quit daycare and become an artist, look at that incredible resemblance ;)

Can you tell from our pictures that they really enjoy play doh time? ;)

Making ghosts

October Birthdays!

Special Halloween Breakfast!: Ghost bananas; eyeball donut holes; blood & brains scrambled eggs!

Halloween games - bean bag toss

Pin the Nose on the Witch

"Pass the rat" game to music

Jack - O - Lantern craft

Somehow they always end up decorating themselves as well ;)

Evan was his special helper

Halloween Lunch: pumpkins and bloody worms (smaller kids got chopped up worms, of course) ;)

Fell asleep on our way to trick or treat at Lee's Marketplace - it had been quite the busy day!

Some of our trick or treaters!

In the "Spook Alley" (Lee's Marketplace)

Such awesome costumes!

Playing in the fort - which I think I did storytime/read books about camping that day

Probably not one of our healthier snacks - but it sure was good! Chocolate, chocolate chip muffins!

So messy, but so yummy!

Being silly kids!

Coloring time!

Making applesauce

They helped with all the steps...an awesome team!

I moved the booster onto the floor to use the chair for the bigger kids, she was playing in it and got herself stuck :)

Turning the crank seemed to be everyone's favorite part...

They did really enjoy pushing the apples down from the top as well...

Enjoying our delicious work!

All that work can make you tired...
(sleeping pictures tend to be my favorite! So cute!)

Putting puff balls into containers - this is before I made the bottles color-coded/cute... :)

Trying to encourage the fine motor skill of putting the balls into the containers while also learning colors!

I don't like to admit I got these toys from Wendys, but they are the coolest connector/building toys!

Playing in the leaves is the best!

Went next-door to borrow the neighbor's leaves - they had way more!! :)

Pumpkins - this little one especially liked putting the different pieces on...

She especially loved putting the glue on with the brush...it turned out so cute!

"Skidamarink a-dink, a-dink" Song

"E is for Egg" -- eggs with different pictures inside, they had to decide if they DID or did NOT start with the letter "E"

These girls really had fun with this and got pretty silly!

I love her silly face here!

Gotta end with another adorable sleeping picture :)
